Kitten season has been overwhelming this year. They are everywhere......lots of cuteness abounds.

But at APRA we can boast about having some of the friendliest, cutest ones around. Some are getting bigger, some are still small so come visit and add a new friend or two to your family!

If an adult kitty is more to your liking, we have some beautiful young adults too!

Sponsor a Dog Pen or Cat Room

Do you often think you have room in your heart for another dog or cat  but your house is too full. If this describes you, we have the perfect solution.

Become a sponsor of one of our nine dog pens. Share your love by helping multiple dogs at Atlanta Pet Rescue & Adoption. When you sponsor a dog pen, you will receive a certificate suitable for framing that shows you are a proud sponsor. In addition, we will hang a small sign on the outside of each pen/or room that shows you are a sponsor. 


Are you a cat lover? Then we have a sponsorship for you too. You can sponsor one of our six cat rooms and help them out without having to bring another kitty home with you. Our cat sponsors receive the same perks as the dog sponsors.

We have a simple sign up sheet on our website to make it easy for you , or you can donate on line.

Celebrate the entire month of July with us as we feature dogs over 4 years of age and kittens 4 months and younger!

Our 4+ dogs will have a reduced adoption fee of $244 plus a free microchip. Our kitties 4 months and younger will be 2 for $144. We have lots of adorable ones to choose from so help make this July the best month ever.

APRA volutneers are the best!

APRA is very grateful for all of our volunteers and when they are superstars like Shelby Pressler and Ross Granowski we want to put them in the spotlight.  Ross, a senior at Georgia Tech and Shelby, a junior at Ogelthorpe University, spend countless hours helping staff with everyday duties, representing APRA at events and providing the animals with lots of extra TLC.

 

Their favorite part of their volunteer experience is watching the transformation in the dogs and cats, and seeing them come out of their shells. Shelby says time with the animals is the highlight of their week, and it has made an impact on both of their lives. The dogs and cats could say the same about them!

Celebrate July 4th with APRA

Beat the heat and come over to APRA on July 4th.

We have some wonderful dogs and cats plus for our two-legged friends, a special afternoon BBQ. We are open for adoptions from 12-4 pm. A big thanks to Community BBQ for donating lunch for our celebration.

We are also featuring an adoption special for dogs over 4 and kittens 4 months and younger. Adopt a dog over 4 years of age and enjoy our reduced adoption fee of $244 and a free microchip. Adopt two kittens for the reduced adoption fee of $144.
